In Wollongong and the Illawarra, an injured worker, representative or insurer can enquire about lawn or garden care that may form part of approved NSW domestic assistance.
In NSW, this support is generally called workers compensation domestic assistance and can include approved lawn or garden care. It must be medically supported, connected with the workplace injury and included in an insurer-approved care plan. This form records an enquiry only and does not represent insurer or SIRA approval.

Domestic assistance can include lawn or garden care when it is medically supported, reasonably necessary because of the workplace injury and approved in the insurer’s care plan.
Workers compensation domestic assistance is the current terminology. Some people still search for WorkCover gardening, so we mention the older generic term without presenting it as the current NSW authority.
